You will connect with past, current, and prospective donors by phone, communicate the organization’s mission, and confidently ask for one-time and recurring contributions. This is a direct fundraising role—not a general customer service position.

- Explain the organization’s mission and communicate the impact of each donation.
- Ask for one-time and recurring donations using approved scripts and systems.
- Build genuine relationships and handle donor questions or objections professionally.
- Follow up with supporters and maintain complete, accurate notes in the CRM.
- Meet agreed targets for calls, donor conversations, donations, and conversion rates.
- Protect donor privacy, follow approved payment procedures, and work reliably during assigned Pacific Time hours.
Requirements
- Fluent spoken and written English with a warm, clear, and professional phone presence.
- Proven phone-fundraising experience with a nonprofit, charity, religious institution, or similar organization.
- Demonstrated success personally asking for and securing donations by phone.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and working toward measurable targets.
- Able to handle objections and rejection professionally while remaining motivated.
- Experience using a CRM, dialer, or call-tracking platform.
- Reliable internet connection, a quiet remote workspace, and a professional phone or headset setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience fundraising for a religious, community, educational, or mission-driven organization.
- Proven ability to convert one-time donors into recurring monthly supporters.
